1: Guild History:

Nexxus of Faith (Torvonnilous) - Everquest. 1999-2004
Reason for leaving: Moved to America, could no longer make raid times

Unforgiving (Rexxar & Suramar) - WoW 2005-2006
Reason for leaving: Guild imploded, switched to restoration druid from priest.

Avalon (Aerie Peak) - 2006-2007
Reason for leaving: Birth of my first son negatively affected my ability to play.

Strike (Area 52) - 2007-2008
Reason for leaving: Lack of progression and over-recruitment.

Blacklist (Silver Hand) - May 2008 - Current
Reason for leaving: Stagnant progression, being an officer has made the game very little fun and the guild lost some key players to an upstart.

2: Other MMO's:

Everquest:
I was a pretty good Shadowknight but could also hold my own as an Enchanter and Cleric.

Final Fantasy XI:
I played a Galka Rng/Nin to 75 but honestly never quite made it into a competitive Linkshell able to clear high end content.

Star Wars Galaxies:
Not much end game to speak of here before the revamp which destroyed the game but I was 1 holothingy away from unlocking the Jedi profession.

3: Reasons for joining TRS:
I want to be part of a competitive raiding team which has a need for a well played hunter to which I can make a meaningful contribution.

4: Gear:
I do have my frost resist gear available as well as +hit items to swap out should an upgrade in another slot make this a prudent decision. Most of my gear is within the top 3-4 items available for the slot in question and for my chosen spec. I do not frequently wear alternative gear, but I am in the process of building a set to switch to Survival when the patch hits.

5: Other Information:
I do not have friends in the guild (that I know of) but I am a very dedicated player. I am attentive, have good situational awareness, make an effort to come to raids prepared (knowledge of fights as well as consumables) and play this game mainly for the exhileration of beating new content.

WoW, A+ on reading instructions and spell checking - you overshadowed about 90% of the previous applicants already.

Hey, just wondering, why the switch to survival after the patch?

I might have missed the tc to support the change, since shouldn't BM still be the highest dps even with the adjustments (nerfs)?

Right now on Test survival appears to be the ideal DPS spec thanks to the nerf in the way AP contributes to SS damage output. However, the last time I checked the PTR the explosive shot adjustments had not gone live yet so it is difficult to say which spec will come out on top eventually. Also, none of the tests I ran were under raid conditions. Regardless, I like to be prepared which is why I am getting ready to switch should the need arise.
